Anyone notice the local APRS Digi doesn't seem to be hearing much lately?

I have been playing with APRS lately and noticed I am heard as far as North Nashville and Huntsville, AL. but the W4GGM-1 6.6 miles away doesn't hear me.
Could it be my path? I am using WIDE1-1,WIDE2-2 and seem to be heard elsewhere ok. Could it be the local digipeater has problems?
